St. Paul Travelers Actuarial Summer Internship Program
The St. Paul Travelers Internship Programs provide qualified students an excellent opportunity to gain first-hand business experience, receive valuable on-the-job training, and learn about the many actuarial positions available in the insurance industry. These challenging programs are complemented by weekly business seminars, social functions and a mentor program.
There are several paid intern positions in Hartford, CT and St. Paul, MN. Interns will work on challenging assignments that will utilize and develop their technical skills as well as their overall business skills.

Subsidized apartments are available for students who live beyond a commutable distance. Positions are available beginning in May for 10-12 weeks.
Actuarial Leadership Development Internship Requirements:
- Cumulative overall GPA of 3.2 or above
- Actuarial Science, Math, Statistics, and Economics majors preferred.
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Office
- Extra-curricular involvement on campus or in the community
- Related internships/work experience helpful
- Demonstrated leadership experiences/skills
Must be able to show eligibility to work for St. Paul Travelers, in the U.S., on a full time basis, within 3 days of employment.
