Scope of the Internship:
The intern will be partnered with two Commercial Developers. The Intern will work with a developer on a specific commercial development and will have a hands on experience, which will include travel. This position will provide vital and high level development coordination and management for various projects. Specifically, this position will be directly responsible for learning more about the responsibility of the developer in the following areas:
– Financial aspects of all projects
– Feasibility, planning, and design
– Technical
– Supervision of a cross functional team
Knowledge or Experience Required:
– Graduate students with emphasis on finance, engineering, design, planning, or law.
– Real Estate Development, Construction Management and MBA candidates encouraged to apply
– Have a minimum GPA of 3.0
– Passion for our business and ability to thrive in a high performance culture
– Proficient in Word, Excel, Internet Explorer
Knowledge or Experience Preferred:
– Previous experience suggested
Special Characteristics:
– Strong problem resolution skills and creative thinking required.
– Good organizational, leadership, and presentation skills needed - ability to interact with government officials, consultants, and citizen groups.
– Travel will be required.
