A Summer Analyst in PWM (Private Wealth Management) is part of a relationship management team responsible for marketing new business and managing existing client relationships with wealthy individuals and families, while gaining a broad-based understanding of the asset management business. PWM develops and manages relationships with wealthy individuals and families, advising them on ways in which to build and protect their financial assets through equity, fixed income and alternative investments. Summer Analysts provide support to the client teams in executing trades, monitoring portfolio holdings, prospecting for new relationships and servicing clients.
Positions available in the PWM Dallas office.
Principal Responsibilities:
• Work closely with clients to support their wealth management strategies
• Keep abreast of the latest events in the financial markets
• Develop and prepare marketing presentations that address equity, fixed income, alternative investments, asset allocation and external manager selection
• Analyze client equity and fixed income portfolios
• Assist on projects related to new business development, strategic planning, asset allocation, product development and other marketing infrastructure issues
• Work in conjunction with various product groups within IMD to respond to client needs
• Relay GS research to Private Wealth Advisors
• Assist with trading and provide market information
• General client service and team support
